Very happy with the tortoise house. Well made, plenty of room inside for my 66 year old tortoise. Also pleased to buy from a British company!
Overall, the tortoise's new house is bigger than the previous one, although I'm not sure if the plywood construction will last.
I have treated it with two coats of yacht varnish, and put rubber feet on each corner to raise it off the floor. I also fitted a stay hinge on the roof, so it stays in the open position. Without the hinge, the roof always slammed shut.
For the price, I think the hinge and rubber feet should have been included, probably a good stain as well.
With the new and old house next to each other, it was satisfying that my tortoise chose to enter the new one!
